Join us for the Rutherford Nonprofit Leadership Series

 

RHI Legacy Foundation and WNC Nonprofit Pathways are offering a unique opportunity for Rutherford County nonprofit leaders to earn a professional certificate in nonprofit management with affordable, high-caliber workshops right in your own backyard! The first four workshops are now open for registration. Earn a certificate by completing six of the eight workshops in the series. Workshops run from 10am to 3pm. February 25, 2020 – Effective Nonprofit Leadership

This workshop will focus on effective leadership and will meet the unique needs of Rutherford County nonprofit leaders. Topics included will be vision development, culture-building, communications, collaborative leadership, community relationships, and more. Althea Gonzalez will lead this workshop. Register Here.

March 24, 2020 – Financial Management

This workshop will cover the basics of budgeting and financial best practices. It will provide nonprofit leaders the skills and stewardship for a high level of accountability. This workshop will be taught by Wade Rogers. Register Here.

April 28, 2020 – Fund Development

Every nonprofit must raise money to cover its costs. This session will provide a thorough overview of fundraising trends and effective approaches to help nonprofit organizations be successful at securing revenue. This workshop will be taught by Angela Kemper. Register Here.

May 19, 2020 – Organizational Planning

Nonprofits’ success depends on solid planning. Participants in this workshop will learn how to create a culture of planning and implement key planning practices in their organizations. Beth Trigg will lead this workshop. Register Here
